About Eden
Eden is a brand-new, open-source Nintendo Switch emulator designed from the ground up to prioritize performance, stability, and cross-platform compatibility. Originally forked from the Yuzu codebase, it introduces a completely redesigned user interface, enhanced graphics and input pipelines, and a mobile-focused build for Android devices.
Launched in pre-alpha (v0.0.1) on May 10, 2025, Eden represents the next step in community-driven Switch emulation, offering early adopters a promising alternative to existing forks. Please note that as a pre-alpha release, many features are still in development and game compatibility is limited.

Near-native frame rates on high-end PCs and playable performance on flagship Android devices thanks to optimized shader caching.
Currently in pre-alpha with limited game compatibility. Several commercial titles can boot, with ongoing work to improve compatibility and performance.
Roadmap includes full co-op netplay, real-time shader translation, and experimental Vulkan ray-tracing support.
