Legal Disclaimer

Eden is an open-source Nintendo Switch emulator. The Eden project is not affiliated with Nintendo or any of its partners.

The Eden emulator is designed to play legally obtained game dumps. The Eden team does not endorse piracy or the illegal distribution of Nintendo Switch games.

Emulation Legality

Emulators themselves are legal software. The act of creating and distributing an emulator is protected as fair use in many jurisdictions. However, the distribution of copyrighted ROMs or game dumps without permission from the copyright holder is illegal.

Users of Eden Emulator are responsible for ensuring that they have the legal right to play any games they use with the emulator. In most jurisdictions, this means you should only use game dumps that you have created yourself from games that you own.
